Greater Manchester Asian Leaders Awards 2020

Ayesha was honoured to have been nominated as a Finalist in the Greater Manchester Asian Business Leaders Awards 2020. She was the only female finalist in all categories (26 finalists altogether) and we were rooting for her win!

It was a packed night with a scrumptious 3 course meal served to all the guests at The Vermilion Banqueting Hall in Manchester. This event was a celebration of the finest business leaders in the community – all of whom were in great spirits.

We are proud to confirm that Ayesha WON on the night as Leader in Professional Services. Ayesha said “Well done to all the Finalists and Winners. It is great to be collecting awards on stage but for most of us here tonight,  there will have been a long journey to get to the position we are now in.  Anyone who knows me will tell you, that this is the culmination of almost 25 years of solid hard graft. It is a lifestyle choice when you choose to excel in your field. You never switch off and give up so much of your life to make the business succeed. I never play on the fact that I am a woman but I have to admit I am thrilled to be flying the flag for women tonight!”.

Muzahid Khan, one of the organisers of the event, was keen to point out that these awards are not merely a pat on the back for the best of the business, but work as an inspiration to others. He called on all winners to get out to into their local schools and communities and engage with people, sharing the secrets of their successes and offering an insight into the fast paced changing world of commerce.

He said “All of our awards winners are positive role models and in the case of Ayesha, she is a shining symbol to women everywhere to overcome barriers and smash through the glass ceiling”.
